That is the question... Legs are feeling a little stiff today from yesterday (and probably the week), should I get one more short brick (hour bike, 30 minute run race pace) before my HIM next Saturday or bag the brick and rest the legs? The schedule I made up for my self had a brick scheduled I am just questioning the "need" for it.

I vote 'Not to Brick'. If your legs are feeling really worn then you probably need to take a day off or do an easy recovery workout. Remember that it's during recovery that your body becomes stronger.

Either way, good luck next weekend!!

I would keep your legs fresh.  There's no point in overdoing it before a race because it will only have a negative effect on your performance.

Looking at the month you have put in, you don't need it. You have put in the time. You are ready. Taper well!

same advice - you did enough work judging by your log. if you're only a week away from your HIM and you feel worn then it's not a good idea (and won't help) to do a brick. did you compare your schedule to the BT one for the last 2 weeks or so?

Just in case you needed one more opinion.... rest those legs. No need to brick this close to your event.... do a couple light rides or runs just to stay in the groove, but nothing to make those legs tired! You won't regret it on race day.
