I got pulled into doing this goofy run/walk in Walla Walla. The local humane society put it on, and people were invited to bring their dogs. We also all got jingle bells to put on our shoes. It was a lot of fun, and I got 7th place with a time of 19:44. Not bad considering the fact that I'd gone for a three hour bike ride less than half an hour before the gun went off. The girl who made me do this thing (who also was on the bike ride), smoked me in the last mile and got 4th in under 19 minutes! She just got 9th at nationals in NCAA div III cross country, so I'm ok with losing to her.

Anyway, a fun and unexpected race.

Congrats on a great race! We have a local Jingle Bell run in my hometown, but I have never had the opportunity to compete in it. I understand that hearing all the runners with bells on their shoes is quite an event.

Still Tri'n
