Good Morning

Did a Half hour on the trainer last night high cadence low resistance to see if I could get this bum knee to free up a bit seems to have worked its moving pretty good this morning at least you can see a knee cap today after not having one for 5 days, will probably hit the pool for some laps today after cleaning out the foot of fresh snow sitting in my driveway

Have a great day all.

5:30 AM 45 minute run
PM 3000m of swimming

I try not to think about the risks as a cyclist here. It's the reason I only ride outdoors once a week (early Sunday AM, when "rush hour" is lighter) and, since a violent attack on a woman on our famous "bridge hill" (the only real hill in town) last year, only in the industrial park with fairly minimal vehicle traffic and lots of security. Even in there, I've seen a few serious accidents; out on the roads, at least one fatal or near-fatal collision a week. There have been rides where I've literally had to peel my fingers off the bars afterwards. Ride carefully, everyone!

That sounds harrowing!

1900 m in the pool..

Pt this afternoon on my Achilles..

On a brighter note, I bought new running shoes yesterday. I did the whole 9 .. Gait analysis, foot pressure zones, etc..

Got some custom orthotics .. It was like running on pillows !

Bought the Saucony Guide 6 and the ASICS gel cumulus 16..

Why o why did I tempt myself.. Because you know I can run right now...
