Subject: Bike + Ice = No Bueno Let me start off by saying: Yes, I was an idiot.
On Monday the 3rd, we got iced in. I was tooling around the front and back yard on my old mountain bike... no problems. I get the boneheaded idea to take off up the street to get a look at the main road. Needless to say, I ended up slamming on my right hip and shoulder hard enough to crack the ice under me.
I've had no extreme pain... but for the last couple of weeks, I've had this stiffness in my lower back. It has not interfered with exercise at all. The only time it really gives me issues is if I'm sitting or laying down for longer than 5-10 minutes. When I get back on my feet, I'm bent over and it hurts to stand straight back up... then I'm fine...
I go to see the Dr. on Friday for a checkup, I'll bring it up then, but I'm wondering if y'all have any ideas?
