I think the incline of the hill is relative to how much strength you currently have. A weak cyclist may choose a very minor grade, and get the same benifit as an expert cyclist on a steep grade.
I think the distance you're going though may be a little short- 200 yards isn't very much. I ride hill repeats at 3 ,minutes up, and a 2 minute spin back down. I do this 10x. The incline has increased since I first started these- I now ride on a steeper hill, and each week try to get further up the hill in 3 minutes |
