IM volunteer Registering for IM the Following Year??

Your station captain will have specific details per the individual race. At IMWI last year, you basically had a time and place the following Monday to line up with your volunteer shirt for registration.

That is basically how it was for Lake Placid last year also. I think we might have been asked to keep our wristbands on also, but I don't remember for sure. At Lake Placid volunteers started lining up well before the time they were supposed to start registration so it was still quite a bit of standing in line.

At IMFL, you need your volunteer wristband and/or t-shirt, and volunteer registration starts the morning after the race. If memory serves, volunteer registration started around 8am, but the line started forming around 4am.

Yep. The volunteers get their own line for registration the day after the race. They get first dibs on registration before the "everyone else" line starts. I would imagine that a similar protocol is followed at other IM branded events.

Quick question regarding volunteer registration:

I tried to volunteer for IMAZ this morning and I couldn't get through until 8 am. Once I got into the list of jobs and the dates at the top it said "Volunteer Sign Up Currently Closed".

Does this mean that it's full and I'm out of luck?

Facebook says that the IMAZ volunteer registration was broken but they've fixed it now.
