I have a Flo disc which seems to work just fine.  My only complaint is that it is an earlier version and is very noisy.  There is no filler material between the fairing material and the spokes within so every bump I hit sounds like a drum beat.  I have heard from others that newer versions have been improved.  Also have heard nothing but good things on their other wheels.  For the money, I think they are a pretty good deal.

I've got a set of 60s and a set of 30s and have ridden nothing else for more than a year. I love them, and they have great customer service. I might also try and get a disc.

I have front and rear 90's.   I absolutely love those things.

It's hard to beat the bang for the buck on them.

I have a set of 60s that I've been putting some miles on. Brand new the rear was enough out of true I was getting some.brake drag and pulsing. Needed to have it trued and dish adjusted. My Tri bike has TRP aero brakes and they are finicky to set up and dial in. The rear wheel before being tured on my road bike with regular brakes, the dish and high spot was not as noticeable. I find the front wheel gets blown around by wind and passing cars more than I would have expected. Feels like it moves around more that my 100mm deep front I've raced on. I'm gonna put more miles.on then before deciding to keep or pass on. I'm 185lbs too, so not a light weight, and the front getting pushed around I find surprising.

Thank you all for your replies. I think the general consensus is that is a good value wheel. Now, how would they compare to the cheapest HED or ZIPP (or other known brands)? What is the price difference? Would you get much more value with other brands?

FLO are rooted in serious engineering, so you get very well designed wheels with proven aerodynamics. Are they as good as HED and Zipp? No, but you're not that far off. Personally, I would compare them more with HED then I would with Zipp, as you get an aluminum rim, bonded to a carbon fairing. This yields comfort and of course an aluminum brake surface (not to be under estimated!), with a small price in weight. Zipp's are full carbon, lighter, but at a cost of comfort (not that they're bad…) and of course a hefty price tag.

If I was on a budget, FLO would be my first choice for new wheels and HED for used wheels.

My back wheel needs to be trued up. It has a slight side-to-side wobble, and I feel at times like I'm going to lose control when I ride. Is this something that I should only trust to my LBS to do?

The wheels are my first area of concern and I have started to shop around. I find it nauseating to think of spending the same amount for wheels as my bike. Any help?

Don't know how to take that rear wheel off of your bike? Is the chain making things difficult? Learn how to remove your rear wheel if you have to change your bike tire or fix a flat.

Being a fast swimmer put me up with the faster athletes. As expected, they started to pass me soon out of transition. Some would just slowly pass. Others with aero wheels would literally buzz by.

This article estimates how much time can be saved in sprint races by converting from stock aero wheels found on most tri bikes to more aero disk and composite spoked wheels.
