I have a new in box pair of bontrager hilo rxl triathalon bike shoes. They are "shiny reflective" silver and are size 39 (6.5 Mens, 8/8.5 womens). They are brand new and have never been worn (just tried on).

Shoes have a "silver series" carbon sole and two Velcro strap system for easy entry. Shoes have a perforated footbed for drainage. Shoes are for a 3 bolt cleat system, but I think they can be adapted to spd as well--see attached pics. I've only used 3 bolt cleat systems, but I think that slot in the middle will accommodate sped cleats. Not positive though.

We purchased these a while back and realized they were too small, but never returned them. They are an older model from 2011. I would also agree with the reviewer that they fit on the small/narrow side of a 39--I'm not a pro shoe fitter or anything, but it's just how it fit when tried on.

Please note that the newer model of the hilo has straps that Velcro to the outside of the shoe (2012 and newer). Again, this is the older model of the hilo--these Velcro to the inside of the shoe (2011 model).

Also note that the blue in the pictures is a reflection of my shirt--again, the shoes are almost like "mirror" silver.

Back in the day, the MSRP was $169...new hilos are $179
