Subject: Update pace
Hi. I just added the half to full distance plan and I am trying to figure out if I can put my run and bike pace in somewhere like I am able to do in the custom plan. Right now the calendar just shows workout times, not distances. I want it to show both.

Thanks in advance!

I apologize that I missed this.  Silver plans will not show 'distance' for bike and run as the plans were created by time and assume you train by heartrate or RPE.  Since paces can vary from person to person, distance would be only 'more or less'.  For the gold plans we do show distance, and it's more of a rough guide since you are training in zones.

Now, you can week-by-week go in an 'edit' your planned training to include distance based off of your average pace.

I hope this helps.

Should I have time goals for the first sprint? Should I just finish the race at a reasonable pace? I'm not sure how to approach this.

Focus on doing the drills and improving each week. Eventually you will go out for a run, look down, and see that your pace has improved, your heart rate is lower, and your cadence is over 90 rpm.

The misconception of LSD is that it’s easy. What I have learned over the years is that LSD or "running slow" is relative to each person.
