Is anybody up for some training in the area over the next few weekends?  Doing the half IM on Sept 9 and want to check out the courses and get in the water a bit.

I am training for the Sprint, but will do longer bikes and swims - especially the swim - love OWS. Bad knees keep me away from running alot. I have access to Elkhart Lake and know a few small spots near by to get a group going. We have a group that bikes Tues Nite, generally 15-18 miles, but a few will go further.

It's possible that I might want to get out there but you are probably way too fast for me. I am 65% sure I am going to try the HIM.

TriDDS -

Where do you have access to Elkhart Lake? I am from Plymouth and have grown up on Crystal Lake.

I have access from Point Elkhart, we own a unit there. It is about .55 miles form our point straight across. It is a great swim early in the morning. We go up every weekend. Typically I bike Thurs nite Fri, Brick workout Sat, and long swim (~1.1 miles) Sun.
