Subject: New to the tri world

Hello, everyone, I just finished my very first triathlon this past Sunday in Pleasant Prairie, WI!!

I'm looking forward to my next tri, which is a super-sprint at Foster Beach in Chicago on August 28th.

Anyone in the Chicago area interested in training with me? I'm verrrrrry slow, but I have a strong will and really want to ditch some more pounds, as well as kick butt in my next tri! I live on the far north side of Chicago and train at the Evanston Athletic Club.

Good luck at foster beach! I used to run Mrs. T and it was always a apain never knowing if the beach was gonna be open or not due to bacteria, but if it goes on, riding down LSD just rocks!

Hey, nice to hear about your first tri. I love that we're all in the same boat. I've done one relay (swim only) and am doing another next month (swim only) in Chicago a day after you but I want to do my own soon! And don't worry, I'm sure I'll be slower than you!
