Did I just loose my whole Ironman data from my Garmin?

Hey everybody,

Well just two weeks ago I did my first Ironman. It were a though 13 hours but I loved the experience.

Anyway, I raced using my 1.5 year old Garmin 910xt. It had never had any issues in a few HIM and marathons, none at all except that the heart rate band stopped working (but those things never last that much). It had always been reasonably accurate, (it was .8 km off in a marathon) but during this race it was really off. It was showing 30 km on the bike ride when I was going by the 40 mark. It ended up showing 162km when it should have been 180. The marathon was off as well by some margin (i think it read something like 35km).

At the end of the race I pushed stop and reset like I usually do. But after the race I wasn't able take a look at the activity as it always crashed when trying to access "history". I tried for a few times and then it deleted the last month of activities including the ironman. I got home and uploaded the files and after several tries it uploaded all the files (including a post ironman run) except the ironman!!

I know the file doesn't really matter as it does not show real pace, but would love to se the map and times. Has anybody had this issue? Is there a way to recover the info??
