Subject: Smaller goggles for my small head...
Any ladies (or men, or children perhaps?) out there who know of any smaller size goggles? I was using the petite size TYR ones that are a blueish color, and those were ok, but then I went and bought this mask yesterday, that a number of people I know swear by, and while it can get very tight, I was having trouble getting it on over my head (swim cap kept slipping), and then water was gettin in the sides of the goggles, which was very annoying...so I'm wondering if there is another small pair of goggles out there, or if I should just stick to the TYR petite?

You might want to try Speedo Vanquisher. I have a small head and have worn my kids goggles, but these are better.

I'm not 100% sure, but the Vanquisher also comes in a womens size. I'm pretty sure of this. I'm a fan of this pair of googles though.

Speedo Vanquisher.

I switched to children's goggles and had much better luck. I was originally using the Barracuda medalist but after three pairs they started leaking. I now use the Speedo Vanquisher youth size. They hurt my eye sockets more than the Barracudas but seal better (as long as you always wear them right side up . . . but maybe I'm the only one whose ever done that . . . ).

I believe I have a big head, though I can almost fit into a medium Giro cycling helmet. I purchased a pair of Aquasphere goggles and when I purchased a second pair, I realized that my first pair was a size small. The large goggles leaked around the outside near the strap.

I don't believe the goggles/mask should be tight around your head, but should fit snuggly around you eyes/face.

When trying on a pair of goggles or mask at a store, press it against your face and see if it will stay in place. If it does, it shouldn't leak when you swim. The strap should just keep it in place and not put pressure on your face/head.
