Subject: Hello from So Cal
Hello all, my name is Tony. I live near Bonelli park and I have been watching the triathlons for a few years. Last year I had a quad bypass surgery and 6 months ago I was released. I asked my cardiologist, when he released me, if my rebuilt heart could stand up to a sprint triathlon. His answer "have you started to train yet?"
I have been riding a bike and walking, 30-40 mins a day. for the past 6 months So here I am getting ready to participant in my first triathlon.

Welcome to BT and congrats on making your health a priority!!

There are some good races of all distances at Bonelli I'm sure you will enjoy participating in one

There's  also plenty of published info here on BT for the beginner as well as lots of folks in the Forums that love to share tips n experiences
