Subject: Bad karma for this bike? I am in the process of buying my first road bike. I love the Dolce Compact Elite and have put a deposit on the one I want. Over the weekend, I went to the shop and they were fitting me, getting the gears to shift smoother (they were a little "clunky". Well, when the employee took it out to test it after messing with the gears, he broke the saddle. Now, of course they are very willing to put a new one on for me, but it made me wonder: is that a bad sign of the saddle breaks? Is that any indication that this bike isn't a well made bike? Or is it just a fluke and I shouldn't worry about it? |
