Since everyone is either sleeping in or training - I'll start today for Kim :-)

For me - rest day!
I've developed a habit of sleeping in on the weekends, which will need to change soon once I ditch the trainer for some outdoor rides. But for now, it feels amazing, since I get up at 4 during the week.

Yesterday I had a good 2 hour ride on the trainer in the afternoon - started watching the show "The Black List" - awesome and now I'm hooked!

What's everyone else up to? Enjoy your Sunday!!

We are living similar lives!  I have been sleeping in too--so not like me!!!  Yesterday I spent a couple of hours on the trainer as well. Today, got out for a long hike after I managed to drag my butt out of bed!  I need to shake myself out of this hibernation mode!

Have a great day out there!

To bed last night at 8 pm. That made the 4:30 am wake up much more palatable. Ran 15.5 between 5 and 7. That way the workout is done and I can hang out with the family all day.

Even slept in a little here--of course managed to miss the MTB ride I'd planned to join, and would have (early on at least) been a perfect day for it as dry and sunny, but, of course, very hot! 52 minute easy run at about 6:30 AM, 2:05 trainer ride and weights in the afternoon. Kind of a sucky weekend with loads of paperwork for school--would have killed to have a little more downtime with all my long workouts also on the weekend!

On Holiday in SF this weekend.

Ran from Fort Point (Right under the GG Bridge) along the bay trail through Crissy Field, Marine Park, Fisherman's Wharf and past the Ferry Building, Market Street and ATT Park and back. (16 Miles

The run was super flat and I did the last 4 miles at Marathon Pace and ended the day with a 4:01 Negative Split.

It was SO COOL to see the sun coming up over the city as I ran across Fort Mason

Yesterday I jumped in the water and swam at Marine Park (Water is unseasonably warm but decided to skip it today owing to the cooler air temps)

Another awesome day in Paradise :D

Was a 5 mile run for me , very cool at 40 degrees and windy 10 mph out of the North Brr, considered a bike ride but glad I didn't, going to need to break out the winter gear soon.

I've seen posts on chronic achilles pain, but nothing on recovery from surgery. I don't know the difference between the good pain and the bad when training.

Would it be a simple and advisable to swap back and forth between the road seat post with no aero bars and the tri seat post with aero bars?

I just completed my first Ironman season and I was free of injuries. I am now just messing around when I run at a fast pace (for me), I get a shooting pain in my right knee.

I have a Specialized Allez Elite road bike with aero bars. It has the stock seatpost. I am interested in changing the seat post to one that is more forward. What would I look for?

The Monday after the race, I go to my health club for my first Pilates class in six years. I look like the fittest person here. Fortunately, I don’t mention to anyone that I’m a triathlete.

What you eat prior to your workout will determine your energy levels during a workout. What you eat after a workout will determine how quickly you recover.

I find this is occurring after almost every workout. The pattern is always the same: freezing 10 min after a workout and 2 hours to warm up again. I am not sick. My diet is healthy.
