Subject: Where to find a Powertap Wire Harness
I just picked up an old wired Powertap set-up from a friend of mine in an effort to start training with power. Well... On my second ride, I some how managed to snap the wire that leads from the hub reader to the head unit. Ugh... I've poked around online to find another wire harness and am having some troubles. Any suggestions on where I can find one of these? Anyone have one in their garage they want to part with?

I feel your pain. I love my wired powertap but the system is no longer officially supported by Powertap. Finding replacement parts is not only tough but expensive. My "Little Yellow Computer" is starting to fail. You used to be able to pick them up on E-bay for next to nothing but now they are close to $100. The wired units are more expensive than wireless'

Sorry I can't be much help

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
