Hey everyone! Didn't see a daily yet for today, so thought I'd start it.

Been sunny here today but turned a bit breezy. Still wonderful this time of year in AZ, so I'll take it!

Today turned out to be a rest day for me. I ran in a Half Marathon Relay last night and was pretty tired today!

Was a night run through a local resorts golf course. I was the second leg (6.55 miles) so was pretty dark by then. Cool running along the path lit with glow sticks and seeing headlights bopping all over the place.

I was going to take it easy, but my ego got in the way and I tried to keep up with some pretty fast runners and pushed myself more than normal.

We came in 2nd overall for the relay teams and 1st place Female teams! 1:51:04 total time. For a couple not-fast runners, we did pretty well :-)!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! 4 days till Turkey Day!!!

Did my planned long run on the marathon course.

Ran 20 miles (1st 15 and last 5) with 8 miles at marathon pace.

Ended the day with a 2:23 negative split and an avg HR of 156 (86% of Max)

Looks like things are shaping up nicely. HM last weekend and an awesome long run this weekend. 7 more weeks of training. Seems like sub3 is possible this marathon season. (4 more races to attempt it)

Arrrgh! Just reading that workout does not make me miss marathon training (I have given them up, at least while living here).

46 minute easy run, later on a 2 hour trainer ride and 30 minutes of lifting

Going to back off on the long stuff next weekend and then start taper for a half marathon in two weeks (less running, no biking, more sleep!)

Good luck with sub-3. I think you certainly have the volume part covered......

Feeling confident and cocky, after finally losing some weight, I got off my back side and into triathlon.
