5:30 AM Easy hour run. Only 2:45 to go and I will get to my goal for the year (200 hours)! (No, not doing it all in one run, three or possily four.)

Good Morning All

YEA Break time
I am going over for a light swim, I am starting a 2 week recovery period over the holidays till the new year after a good 4 months of steady training. the only thing I will be keeping up hard will be Saturday's 2+ hr bike classes, runs and swims will be short and very easy when done at all. Been kinda looking forward to this break, time to get fat and lazy for a couple of weeks .

Did OK at the Bike shop that's closing the other day got a new dura ace Chain, and complete Cable set brakes and shifters to rebuild my bike when needed 60% off everything.

Finally digging back into it with a big week planned.

 

AM- 9.7 mile run- track; 7x400 (400 jog), 4x200 (200 jog) 5k and 3k pacing

Midday - strength

PM - 5 mile EZ run

Day 2 of IM training calls for a 45 minute run and a 30 minute swim. Haven't been in a pool in 4 months. Should be interesting!

Been so busy these past 2 weeks. Looking forward to the week being over! Pretty much living at my kids school all day - 2 BIG school wide projects that I happen to be co-chairing - eek! What was I thinking!

I also managed to pick up whatever illness my family's had over the past week. Thanks a lot guys!

So trying to tone it down a bit, but still do some training to see if I can kick it.

5am - 60 min power spin
9am - 2 mile run/walk
