Newbie from CT

Hello,

I'm from CT, I was looking for a way to lose some weight and gain some fitness. I struggled with running, because I didn't have a sport to associate with it (goals). I search around and found sprint triathlons which I though I could possibly do with some training. The next order of business was to convince my wife to do it with me. It took a couple of weeks of strategically placing triathlon magazines and books around the house. She read a litle bit and asked me what I thought about it and she was hooked, in fact she’s probably going to be better than me. She loves to cycle. We've been training for a couple of week now and selected a sprint triathlon in Marlborough CT on Aug 19. We are both concerned about the swim, but willing to give it a try.
