For those of you biking through the winter (Floridians need not reply), what's yours? Been riding Victorria Zaffrino Pros & need to replace them. I know Gatorskins are favorites but I read that they ride like garden hoses. The Zaffrino's seems to roll fairly well given they are "training tires."

I use Gatorskins. Way too much crap on the roads here not to.

I've always preferred Michelin tires over Continentals. I use the Pro4 Service Course tires in the warm months and the Krylion Carbon tires in the winter.

I hear good things about the gp4000s but I've pretty well always used gatorskins, for time trials and everything :p

Gatorskins are greasy as the temp drops. I run 28mm Conti GP4Seasons for winter.

Does anyone not have a problem w/the GPS price? I wanted a pair, but cheapest I found them was $55 each. I got Pro4s for $35 each. May be for racing the price is OK, but for winter!?

Gatorskins are awesome, I run them 95% of my miles. But if you ride them in races, you are giving away a lot of time.

Is the rolling resistance really noticeable? I know it's winter, but I still like to feel fast.

So far it's been mostly time trials and crits etc. I have been prevented from going to a couple of races due to past injuries, but have been thinking of getting a set of GP4000s for actual races this summer.

Any feedback on the attack/force combo?

I can't really answer that. There are so many things on my winter bike that make it feel slower than my summer bike, I can't really isolate the effect that the tires have.
