Subject: hip flexor soreness I'm a fairly new runner - a few 5ks and a sprint tri last summer. I'm currently following a training plan for an OLY next summer.
My issue is that i always get hip flexor soreness when running since i started focusing on short strides / quick cadence. After about a mile or so it get sore right where the leg meets the hip on the front.
Is there anything I can do to help this? Could running form be part of the issue? Or maybe it's just because i'm somewhat new and these muscles just need to strengthen more.
