Ever since the day I happened to have come across the Ironman champ race, one Saturday afternoon on the TV about 12 years ago, I have become a fan and a competitor. First race was 1\2. It was great.

Subject: Me Too
I became a fan of tri's twenty years ago but it took me all this time to decide to do any myself. I only started this year and am doing my third, a sprint, tomorow. I am retiring soon and a large part of my retirement plans includes training for and participating in triathlons. I also plan on continuing with my post secondary education, which will also train my mind. Hopefully a sound mind and body will make my retirement a bit more enjoyable than a more sedentary lifestyle comprised of gin rummy and shuffleboard.

Welcome!  Good luck in your training......any more this season?

And Michel, I'm jealous of your plans!  I wish I could do everything in my life right now, minus my job!
