Subject: Target Heart Rate
I would like to clarify something with a well known person....

I went through this calculator https://www.easycalculation.com/health/heart-rate-calculator.phpwhile surfing...

It says that target heart rate is measured using the karvonen formula....What is the difference between the normal heart rate and karvonen heart rate...Here a term called heart rate reserve is used...What it indicates and by this what did karvonen mean to tell...

No idea. But if you ask on the Triathlon Talk forum you'll find that most on this site would recommend using LTHR zones calculated from doing a field test. BT has  all the HR zone calculators for all the methods.

Yesterday I found that my heart rate was maxed at 95% and averaged 80% for the bike and run with no breathing problems. However, I just couldn't seem to get more out of my legs. Thoughts?
