Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

I wasn't feeling well...was coming down with a virus or something. Hence I didn't eat much in the days leading up to the race. I also didn't eat the morning of the race (I drank a Boost) and I had no GUs during the race.

Event comments:

It was an excellent race for my first triathlon. Short distances, women only (which made me more comfortable and less intimidated) and the race course was great.

On the day of the race my chain jumped off again and got wrapped so tightly around my crank that I couldn’t finish. I DNF'ed my first triathlon.

You already know that attitude and what you believe about yourself has an incredible impact on what you accomplish.
