I just got an email from cycling.tv and am considering ordering the 21 day package. A buck a day but I don't think I will have the time to watch it live and I really don't care to watch the highlights. I wish some more of these races were on OLN. It would be alot easier.

The Vuelta is like a preseason game after the Super Bowl. Great young talent, but it doesn't really mean anything. I predict the Vuelta will go away and be replaced by the Tour of Germany or Tour de Suisse as a "new" grand tour. Who knows maybe the Tour of California will grow into a grand tour.

Interesting prediction. I could see the vuelta going away, but a grand tour in USA - seems like a stretch.

OLN did show the Vuelta - a 2hr highlights show on the final day. They have Paris-Tours (Oct 8) and Giro di Lombardia (Oct 15).
