Subject: Price check on 105 groupset (tri/TT)

I have a buddy who owns a bike shop. He had a customer buy a new tri bike and switch out the ultegra group for an upgrade. I'm going to put the ultegra group he has on my bike.

How much (already have someone who wants it, so I'm not trying to sell it here) is the 105 group off my 2015 bike worth (less than 100mi.)?

Just a ballpark. I'm getting a good deal. I'd like to extend one.

I just did a price check on eBay. Prices range from $450 to $550 for 11 speed Shimano 105 groups (cheaper prices are from non USA sellers). I'd estimate somewhere around $400 (maybe a little less) depending on how good a friend they are.

You can get it for just over $400 on Merlin Cycles and that's for road shifters that are typically more expensive than TT shifters.

Link They are in the UK, but I've ordered tires from the before, it is free shipping, and delivery time was just over a week.

Oops...you're right.

Ironically, the 5800 11 speed is even cheaper...LOL. $368.

Dang that is very cheap! I got pricing for parts on eBay and others...

Wonder if I can find a Di2 deal like that!!!
