Subject: Getting older let's give this a TRI ......

Hi after just signing up for the London triathlon, the sprint race in August I thought what better way to see if anyone else is doing the race than joining a forum!

So hi I'm Alex from London and over the past year as I approach my 30th birthday I decided to take up some challenges as I'm getting old and football does not quite cut it anymore! Two months ago after training for a year I had my first boxing match and triathlon is my new sport to give a whirl! I have been training for nearly three months now and finding it great fun tho need to improve in the swimming part! So that's all from me be great to hear from some like minded people

Hi Alex, welcome to BT! What part of London are you from? London tri looks like such a blast; its on my bucket list, just for the experience of riding through the city without traffic!
Log your workouts, send inspires to friends, and post on the boards. BT is a great community, and you'll get as much as you give.
As for swimming, I think you'll find a lot of people here working on improving their swim. Have you hear of the Henley Swims? http://henleyswim.com/
