volunteering

since I'm doing my first in August, I thought I'd volunteer at our local one on the weekend. Friday was the Kids of Steel - those little gaffers are so cute - - Saturday was the sprint & olympic.... What an experience! Then I thought "What am I getting myself into?" seeing some of the agony on faces.... Well, it's worth it... first for the health of it, and second receiving "Thank-You's" from some of the athletes for volunteering. I'd definitely do it again and recommend anyone with some free time to help support the community and especially the athletes !!!
