Subject: Hello! Just new to the site, very impressed so far!
48 years old, run 4/5 times a week, usually around 5k, now that winters over (? ) getting off the turbo and back out cycling. That's usually 3/4 times a week.
By taking up running again in November, I've managed to shed 6kg and got to my goal weight of 68kg.
Very much into cycling, however, really fancy doing a tri. What's holding me back? Swim, don't enjoy it, can't get motivated to go to the pool! Run, anything over 5k tends to cause issues. Got dodgy knees and calves so have to be very strict about stretching twice a day.
Loving doing 2 workouts a day and on Saturdays do a back to back cycle then run, love it. I'm genuinely fitter than ever.
Really enjoying it, however, I so need get in the pool as well! Off on to Dubai for a week in April, so I'm determined to get some swimming in.
