Comments: Muscles felt tight before race even after stretching. Felt first twinges of cramps around 1:15, but didn't start being painful until backbone where I had to take big climbing steps up rocks. Felt cramping on inner thigh. Lots of cramps below surface for rest of the race, took small steps, tried to relax and take big breaths. No fully locking cramps. Post race

Age Group Rank = 37/
Ate bowl of cereal, 1/2 banana and piece of breat 2 hours before race. Also took vitamins + (mag., calc. & pot.) and 2 advil. Night before took a muscle relaxer. Trying to experiment with ways of preventing cramps.
Streching, focused on calves and quads.
