Return to 70.3

Hello Friends,

I am to rejoin you all after 5+ years of gaining weight and slowing down. After two rotator cuff surgeries and a significant combat injury, I sold my Cervelo P3 and retired my road bike.

I completed my military career in January weighing 230+ lbs at 6'0" which is heavier than I have ever been.

I have made the commitment to return to triathlon and race another 70.3 next year. (Last triathlon was Austin, TX IM 70.3 in 2010)

I get fitted on my new Orbea Ordu this afternoon. My road bike has another 200 miles this month. I am not running much yet, but my motivation and excitement has skyrocketed.

I will see you all in the near future, training and racing. I am glad to return to this wonderful community.
