Subject: 5.9.17 Tuesday Training!

Good morning BT!  Race report is up!

No training today--maybe a walk later with the dogs.  Still feeling tired and sore from St. George.  

I guess I'm not listed as a DNF any longer, but my total time was well over the 8:30 cut off--it's whatever!  I'm just glad I finished that sucker!  Of course I'm already looking ahead to next race--an Oly distance. I think I'm going to stick with shorter races this summer.  I'd love to get to either a full or half IM and volunteer though...the volunteers at St. George were amazing--as they have been at every IM event I've done.

Good morning, and great race report, Kim. When I have a tough race, I tend to find that I am even more motivated for the next one. Enjoy the rest period and then attack your next phase with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind!

Yesterday, had an easy 20 minute run and a strength session. Today is a rest day, with just some stretching this morning. Felt great.

75 minutes in the pool this am. Got about 3400 yards in.

Scheduled for a shakeout ride this afternoon. About 11 days until Chatt!

Just wanted to say-very inspiring race report. Wow, talk about gutting it out! I will for sure think of your report the next time I think about giving up.

Sounds like a tough, tough day. Shake it off, on the next race!

Tuesday was a 4 mile run in the morning, Crossfit at lunch, and a 25 mile ride in the afternoon.
