This is the worst run of bad luck that I've had on the bike.

Saturday, chased by some birds, they dive bombing my helmet.  On the ride home ran over a piece of metal on the road, double puncture, walk the bike 4 km's home.

Sunday, on the ride home another double puncture,  glass this time.  Walk the bike 2 kms home.

Monday, up to the LBS, two new tyres, tubes etc.

Tuesday morning at the end of a 50 km ride, unclip right side at the traffic lights, fall on to my leftside,  in front of all the other riders in my group, very funny. To make matters worse this was a group of people I have never ridden with, I think they were really impressed with my cycling skills.

15 Mins down the road, turn my head to check for traffic, front wheel hits some thing, end up hitting the road on my right side at about 30 km an hour.

I just hope the cycling gods have finished with me.

May have to start carrying to tubes instead of one.

I think you should be flat and fall proof for awhile...seems you have had your share of mishaps all bunched together.

So what do you think you did to offend the cycling gods?

Maybe they are trying to teach you to learn how to fix a flat out on the road?  I had similar luck with three flats on three consecutive rides.  Learned how to fix it stubbornly after the 2nd ride, third ride no problem.  I think the cycling gods are pretty loving with their gifts of flats, wind, and hills to make us stronger?

I get a flat pretty much every ride. I am 6'5" and 260 lbs so I kind of expect to get a flat and almost without fail... I get one. I'm even running Specialized Armadillo tires now in an attempt to slow down the puncture rate because buying tubes is starting to get expensive. I think I'm going to put in some kevlar liners next.

Wow, you've really had a run of bad luck! Surely it can only get better from here!
