PanCan TeamHOPE Event - Maryland 2006

(I know this is off-topic, but the issue of Pancreatic Cancer has touched the lives of many who regularly read this forum, and it has been a topic of discussion in this forum in the recent past)

Recently my family lost my mother-in-law, Tess Cunzeman, to Pancreatic cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend to many. In her honor we have organized a TeamHOPE walk in her memory on October 8th to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan).

I was hoping to tap into some of the generosity and postitive spirit here at BT.

Pancreatic cancer is a particularly deadly form of cancer for which precious little research money is available. It is one of the most deadly forms of cancer, yet receives one of the least amounts of funding. The money we raise will go toward providing research dollars for developing techniques for the prevention, screening, and treatment of pancreatic cancer, and for the education and support of those fighting this disease.
