I'm surprised at how many Shaq h8ers there are and how many Babe lovers there are. I think you guys are nutz, but I'll agree to disagree.

I've come around on Shaq. I think he does the funniest post game interviews in the NBA. Well, at least since Barkley retired.

h8te is a strong word though. Closest I come to that for basketball players is anybody on the US team right now.

No kidding, I can't believe they got blown out. Even with second tier players, they should have won.

The Olympics is a whole different game than the crappy 1on1 product the NBA puts on the court. Unfortunately, the rest of the world has caught up a lot faster than anyone expected. To compete, we will need a much more dedicated Olympic Basketball program instead of this Exhibition Team we put together for a few months every 4 years.

Chris, better forget about the pro-entertainment roman circus. Remember, mass media does not produce greatness.

"Just look at the Puerto Rican basketball team, a no-name crew with a 40-year-old center that left a collection of millionaire celebrities with egg on their face". (from the nbcn)

I can always count on my island homies to make me proud! Unfortunately without a bobsled team in the winter olympics, we have to pick up the slack with basketball, boxing and occasionally long distance running
