My trainer just forwarded me an article on running cadence (which happened to be written by Mike Ricci) and I just looked back over the thread where Mike and Joe were debating it as a tool for swimming.
Well I am interested in something like this for running and wondered if anyone had used it for this. I assume it would clip onto shorts OK because I don't wear a hat. But, is it audible if it is not clipped near your head anywhere?

Thanks anyone

Jackie

I have one and use it when I run. I usually clipped it to my shirt collar, but it is plenty loud enough to clip it to your shorts/belt.

I also have one.  I find it works fine just holding it in my hand.  It's very small maybe 1/2 dollar size and very light.  I don't use it all the time, but it works very well.  Especially for swimming and running.

I clip mine to my hat when running.  Works great.  Effective training tool for me.
