Hey folks, finished my third (Olympic distance) tri this past weekend in Philadelphia, MS - 25th Annual Heart O'Dixie. Everything was great until about the 3.5 mile mark when I started getting cramps in the "teardrop muscles" of my inner thighs. Anyone suggestions/recommendations for avoiding this in the future would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to BT! Great job on the oly. As far as cramps - that's weird. Did it ever happen before? Maybe you needed more electrolytes along the way of the course.
Yes, it has happened during each tri. Was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and if they take any specific supplements before or during the race to prevent it.
