Subject: Florida Half Ironman 2005
Does anyone know when registration for this begins? I'm wondering whether or not I might be ready, the 2004 event was really early in the year, not much chance for outdoor training in the Northeast leading up to it. I might need to complete an Oly distance first for my own comfort level. But maybe the fact that the registration is still not open is a sign that I should sign up when it does.

Haven't heard anything. Last year was extremely hot, about 91 degrees. I don't recall it selling out that quick. There were a lot of complaints about the race so it may not be as popular this year.

I did the Fl Half Ironman at Disney. It was the first time the race was there.
