With the olympics coming up, I wanted to know if there's a resource (website) that lists the events and the athletes that are representing the US. I'm interested particularly in the triathlon and cycling events.

I don't know of a website, but I understand that the women's tri is 8/25 and the men's is 8/26.  Supposedly both will be broadcast on NBC.  And I know that doesn't exactly answer your question, but at least you know when to watch!

I wouldnt bother with the Triathlon as Simon Whitfield will be taking the Gold for Canada.

http://www.sportsline.com/olympics/summer/athleteshas profiles of every American athlete in the Games. Some of the profiles just have biographical info, but a lot list career highlights and past performances. The site is also gradually adding info for other countries' athletes.
