Subject: RE: Thumb pains 1. Have your bike fit examined, you may have too much overall body weight on your upper body.
2. Have an experienced cyclist show you some hand positions to vary the stress on your hands/joints/nerves. There are more than just the obvious 3 (drops, hoods, flats )
3. Wear gloves with shock absorbant padding
4. Be sure your bars are taped with fancy new cushy bar tape (in case you've got the old fashioned thin plasticy stuff ) |
