Hey guys,

Thanks for the support.  It was an amazing race.  I'll fill in all the details in my race report.

Aaron would have finished much better, but apparently the crank on his bike fell off.  He pedaled 15 miles with ONE crank before the bike mechanics caught up to him.

Jim had a great swim, especially considering the ocean condtions.  We had at least 4-6 foot seas out at the farthest bouys.

Again, thanks for the support.

amazing!
can't wait to read the RR

THANKS FOR KEEPING TRACK OF US ALL DAY!!!!

The weather was much colder than we all anticipated a few days ago and the winds were really whipping on the first 55 miles of the bike.  But everyone I saw was doing great and had a great attitude.

And for those who want to know the details; the left crank fell off my bike at mile 71.  Had to ride one-legged until the next aid station so they could call a bike tech.  Since they had no idea how long it would take I just kept on riding until the techs found me.  15+ miles later I was back in business.

i'm shocked - as someone else mentioned - that you racers are logging on to BT now after the ironman! wow! congrats on a great race, even with the mechanical difficulties!

dang28 (Dan Goodman finished) a while ago.

Aaron- no problem.  This has been fun.  I just hope people here are cheering for me when I'm at Lake Placid next year, as I'm going to need all the help I can get on race day (that bike course is a big concern...).

From what I've been tracking, there are still 6 BTers out there.

I'm just so pumped up I couldn't sleep.  I took an ice bath and a shower.  Now I'm going down to watch the rest of the athletes finish.
