If you're open to sharing, I'd be interested to know the significance. How'd you start down that path? What has been the reaction? Reflections?

As Adam said, the podcast is a good place to start.

As his girlfriend publicist, I can let you know he is at work (without access to BT ) and will reply later today.

Thanks. Nice podcast. Didn't realize that was available. Still, I'll look forward to hearing more, if Aaron cares to divulge.

Aaron,

I've always kept an eye on your progress here, and I just want to say that I think what you do is really, really cool!

(You even got some props from some of the synics at ST! - That impressive!)

Where do you stash that huge flag and pole in transition? I saw you run out of T2 with it at IMFL. Everyone who was sitting around me thought it was very patriotic and wondered how you would make it the whole way. I told them your story and they were all very impressed.

Let me tell you from a IMFL spectators perspective other than mine...as I was cheering on Aaron and the others I was standing by a group of people and when he passed they were so moved by it that one had tears come to their eyes. i then went on to explain about all the races and it really touched them so people everywhere in BT land and beyond get a sense of pride when they see that flag making its way through the crowds...plus on another note its also easy to spot to prepare your camera for pictures!!!! Rock on Aaron!

The flag is very impressive and certainly leaves a lasting memory!

What is equally impressive is the 100 pounds of weight loss!!!!

Thanks for sharing your story.

So, how does the nudism come into play?

Nevermind. Better left unsaid.

Yeah...I think it's just utterly impressive. I was really happy to finally get to meet Aaron last weekend, and he's everything he projects. Helpful, humble, supportive and a heck of an athlete.

 Helpful, humble, supportive

That's exactly what I thought when I met him for a little bit at Gasparilla.  And he is so excited to talk about everything race related that he got me excited too!

let me say that when i was at Cap Tex it was awsome being able to see Aaron coming from WAAAAAAAY down the road because the flag totally stands out.  you can see it from so far away.  i had just met him the night before at DGuntherts and felt really proud to know him.

for anyone and everyone who hasn't had the chance to see JeepFleeb carrying our flag, it will definately move you.  you see it coming a quarter mile away and then as he passes it gets better because you see him and you know that he's working just that much harder than anyone else out on the course.  pretty damned cool.  also........ doesn't take anything away that he's also sporting BT colors!

He carries the flag at the nude races as well.

I echo what everyone else here has said. It gives one a great sense of pride in our flag to see someone working hard in a race and carrying it. Its a wonderful sight.

Now that's just sauted in wrong sauce carrying old glory while naked.
