Got up 7:05, race was at 8. Ate half a banana, took off.

I'm wondering if I should ditch the HR monitor next time and spend the last half of the race picking up some speed? Not sure. Just wanna be safe too.
What would you do differently?:

hummm..not much. Had fun. Fell once in the sand (Tripped on a root)but didn't get hurt.

I'm thinking a turkey trot that coming up. I'm officially joing the area track club too. There's lots planned in our area, this is when our weather is great!

I waited to join the track club because I just wanted to gage how I felt with my first 5K. It was great!
