Subject: First tri yesterday!!!!!!!!1
Hi all,

Just wanted to tell you about my first tri! The weather was beautiful, one of a handful of nice days this summer (we have been having freaky weather) my cheering squad was in full force, including two beautiful little girls, 6 & 4 (my neices). I finished 51/61 overall and 4/7 of my category! Most importantly I finished strong and happy, even passed a few people on the run! My friend who was watching said every time she saw me I was smiling! It was a blast.....

Swim 500m 11:44
Bike 20K 50:47
Run 5K 33:02

Total 1:35:32

I did good on the swim, slow on the bike (need to lose the heavy XS MTB) and okay on the run......race report to follow!

Thanks for the congrats everyone!!!!!I got my official Ontario Association of Triathletes (OAT) card too, which makes me feel vary official!

I am sort of looking for one maybe in September, but my weekends are limited with school and weddings and such, heard of anything around? K

Ontario schedule dwindling quickly...there is one down in windsor august 28th...and a couple left in MI...I guess look forward to next years subaru in p-boro...
