Subject: Orthopaedic Associates of Portland??

Hi Mainers,

I crashed on my bike in August and am still dealing with an injury. I was misdiagnosed at that time wiht bursitis. AFter finally doing an MRI in Dec., a small rotator cuff tear was revealed.  I am currently goign in to get a 2nd opinion with the Sports doctors of this group. I am not unhappy wiht my doctor, I just want the opinion of a doctor who treats athletes. Have any of you had experience with any doctors in this group?  Thankyou!!

Angela.

I don't have any experience with any of the docs there, but I do work at Mercy Hospital, so if you give me an name, I can get a feel from some of the nurses at the hospital about the individual.

Good luck!

Mike, the name of the doctor is Dr. Endrizzie.  If you have heard of him and have any thoughts it would be great.

Thank you. Angela

I've been there for a knee, elbow, and shoulder injury over the years which were all related to sports.

They are the best when it comes to sports injuries. You'll be in good hands.

Hey Angela.

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner.  The word here at the hospital  is that Dr
Endrezzi is the #1 guy in town historically for shoulders.  There are a few younger docs that have been doing then lately, but he is apparenly the one with the most experience.  Good luck tomorrow!

Mike
