I came up this crazy idea that this out of shape 23 year old college student is going to try to train for a triathlon. These first couple of weeks have been rough but thanks to lots of websites and a book I think I am getting started on the right foot. If this progress keeps up I might have to stop partying and change my life style. For now I am just having fun but I really like the way I am starting to feel after work outs and my pants fit great. I hope some day I can purchase a bike, the excersise bikes at the rec are just not as fun. That is it for now, I think I sucessfully introduced myself.

Welcome Robbie. Hey, if an out of shape 53 year old part-time student and full time government worker can train for and do 3 tri's, so can you. Whether you train for a tri or not, eventually the partying life will become long in the tooth and you will change my life style. So why not for the better?!? If you are having fun for now, that is a bonus! When you are ready to buy a bike, get back to us; there are a host of good tri bikes out there, one for each budget. In the meantime, save your pennies. The best of luck to you.
