Hello hello,

Wow there are some great losses this week! Nice holiday rebound from everyone-loss or not. It seems like things are headed in the right direction.

As for me.....used my friend's scale this morning because I was unable to get to the gym yesterday or today to use my normal scale (my work schedule has changed so this is the best I could do). Anyway, she assures me it's accurate. Whatever. I'm quite pleased with the results.

Pre-vacation weight (Dec. 12): 148
Post-vacation weight (Dec. 27): 151
Today's weight: 147.5

Yeah! It's been a LONG time since I've been so solidly into the 140s. I told my friend I am going to be coming over on Thursday mornings from now on to use her scale because I like it so much

Nice job everyone!  Last week the group gained 7 pounds...this week we are collectively down 14.5 pounds.  Talk about shedding the holiday pounds.  Here is something to chew on....I realize that the beginning loses were higher because of more people playing but look at the consistent down trend (except for last week which has been completely erased)..

November 8:    loss of 30.1 pounds (6.7% of goal)
November 15:  loss of 28.2 pounds (61.8 total pounds, 13.2% of goal)
November 22:  loss of 22.5 pounds (84.3 total pounds, 18.3% of goal)
November 29:  loss of 13.6 pounds (97.9 total pounds, 20.9% of goal)
December 6:    loss of 17.4 pounds (115.3 total pounds, 25.7% of goal)
December 13:  loss of 21.2 pounds (136.5 total pounds, 29.2% of goal)
December 20:  loss of 4.1 pounds (140.6 total pounds, 30.2% of goal)
December 27:  gain of 7.5 pounds (133.1 total pounds, 27.7% of goal)
January 3:        loss of 14.4 pounds (147.5 total pounds, 32.3% of goal)

the percentage numbers are lower than expected because they are still be computed based on the total weight of all players (including those who have drifted away).  I am sure they will be adjusted at the end based on mutual agreement between all the captains.

Also, let's all give a shout-out to Jill (Tex-Mom).  She is at 106% of her goal!!!!!!  Awesome job Jill!

Starting Weight: 174.8

Weight on 12/20: 167.6

Weight on 1/4: 164.4

Loss since two weeks ago: 3.2 lbs., Total loss 10.4 Yippee!!!

OK, yes I was SHOCKED to see the scale this morning and I haven't been sick (other than an irritating cough and cold!) The only thing I can say is that I guess an active vacation pays off. We did do lots of skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and I even ran twice. I just felt yuck after sitting in the car and eating all day. I am PSYCHED! My goal was 165 and I have passed that, so can I readjust my goal to 160?

Jill!!!  Way to go!!  ::HUG::  Very impressive that you reached your goal so soon!  It's an inspiration to the rest of us.

If anyone is around, and can give me a quick recommendation for a healthy (relatively) option at the California Pizza Kitchen, I am leaving for lunch in an hour.

Not sure what the choices are, but for pizza try:  thin crust (limit carbs), tomato sauce (lots of lycopene), grilled chicken (protein), green peppers, black olives (omega-3) and onions.  Good, and, as far as pizza goes, not too bad for you.

Now I'm hungry.

Thanks for all the support! I know our team has dropped in numbers (and in weight!), but I have to say I am seriously impressed with how many people are still going for it! Our team is definitely the most active. This is my first time doing a weight loss challenge with BT and it really helped. Keep going Team Skinny, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jill, I must have missed your post. Great job. We need before and after photos with that 10 pounds! And to everyone else, great job for hanging on! I will post to the rest of our team that we haven't heard much from and see if they would like to finish with us.

Have a great weekend, everyone.
