Hey nice job, stick with it. I couldn't swim at all this week becasue the pool I train in was closed. I wasn't really too upset by that though.

Gosh, I fell a little better about myself. I'm huffing after 50yds, but I've only been swimming for three days since my 10yr lay off. But I'm able to get 500yds per workout in about 25min. Looking forward to putting it all together for a continuous 500yd'r. Even more helpful is I LOVE being in the pool.
Should I get some better endurance before joining the gym's Master's Swim? I was just leaving when the group started and the instructor asked if I'd be joining them in the future, I told her I'd like to.

Me again...

My training plan called for a 500 yard time trial this morning to assess my fitness (or lack thereof?)  After the warm-up I did my 500 yards in 9:50.  Not too shabby.  See, and I was huffing and puffing a few months ago to get a lap in. 

I had stomach cramps though... off to find that thread since it was just posted a few days ago.  I must have read that and mentally gave myself cramps.  Shoot.

Thanks, I have another TT in a few weeks so I'll wait for that one (its before the MAP change deadline).  Today's would have been 1:58 for 100 yards or 2:09 for 100 meters (can't recall how MAP takes it).  My first 100 yds was 1:40 though so I'm hoping I can improve the 500 time more - perhaps down to 1:50 per 100 or something around there?
