I just wanted to introduce myself. I have decided that I want to start training for a triathlon. I love to swim and bike, but the running is what will hurt the most. I'm excited to read everyone's posts, and about your experiences. I'm excited that one day i'll be able to share my own.

hi! i'm the same - i'm a fish and i love biking, but running kicks my butt. sort of makes the swimming and cycling parts of training that much more enjoyable!

Hello and welcome to the site. Running is my weakest link also, so I can sympathize! Good luck with your training!

Thanks everyone for the replies and encouragement. I think I have a gung-ho hangover...since I decided to start training, i've been working out harder than normal. So today i'm hurting. I'm sure i'll get better by the end of the day.

Good luck in your training, running isn't that bad just take it a little at a time, start walking and slowly work in some running, before you know it your running distances will get longer.
